WMSTI

An innovator from its beginning in the early 1960s, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine was the first in the nation to use the community-based model of medical education and problem-based learning. Today, the college has campuses in six communities and affiliations with 13 partner hospitals in Flint, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Saginaw and the Upper Peninsula. More than 2,000 physicians in these communities volunteer their time to teach MSU College of Human Medicine students.
